Remember, being a Christian is not a destination.  The journey never ends.  Are you hearing the voice leading you?

From The Pastor's Pen

Myers Memorial United Methodist Church, Gastonia, celebrates its past and is moving forward in great strength for Jesus Christ.  There is so much that is positive and productive about our church family.  The most important thing about our family is its focus on Jesus Christ.  Our Lord came to show us the way.  He taught, healed and befriended the outcasts.  He cared for all, even to the point of dying for us.  He rose, showing the possibilities of new life and the power of God, and he left us gifts, the Holy Spirit and this church.
We invite you to be a part of a family of believers that is seeking to be more like Jesus.  And like our Savior is for us, may we be to all those that come our way their help, their hope, their home.

Yours in Christ,
Clyde K. Penry
