A Season of Celebration at Myers
Join us for a special evening as we honor Sally Queen and her nine years of faithful ministry at Myers Memorial United Methodist Church.
We’ll gather for a potluck celebration meal ~ the main meat will be provided, and a Sign Up Genius is available so you can contribute your favorite salads, sides, or desserts.

There are several ways you can help us show appreciation for Sally.
- First, we’d love to collect short video clips from individuals and families sharing their well-wishes. Please record a 15–30 second video message horizontally on your device and email it to Frazier Smith at frazier.smith@cpcc.edu no later than Sunday, May 25.
- Another way to honor Sally would be through a monetary love offering or gift cards. Sally and her family are planning international travel this summer, and it would be wonderful for them to have extra funds for meaningful souvenirs. If you prefer to give a gift card, some suggested options include Target, Visa, Body Balance Day Spa, or TJ Maxx.
A special “Surcee for Sally” table will be set up at the event for these expressions of appreciation.

Welcome Pastor Andy
On July 1st, Rev. Andy (Andrea) Curtis will be appointed as the next Sr. Pastor of Myers Memorial UMC. Pastor Andy is coming to us from St. Francis UMC in Charlotte.
Andy is married to another UM clergy, Rev. Mark Curtis and they have a blended family of 6 children ranging in age from 15 to 23.
SPRC shares from her pastor profile, Andy describes her theological themes of her ministry as Grace, love, acceptance, meeting people where they are, radical hospitality, personal relationships, full inclusion of all people, and the priesthood of all believers is essential.
Pastor Andy extends a huge thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and well wishes. She fully believes God is at work in Myers Memorial and cannot wait to join the ministries and the movement.
We look forward to meeting Pastor Andy in worship on Sunday, July 13th.
