On July 1st, Rev. Andy (Andrea) Curtis will be appointed as the next Sr. Pastor of Myers Memorial UMC. Pastor Andy is coming to us from St. Francis UMC in Charlotte.

Andy is married to another UM clergy, Rev. Mark Curtis and they have a blended family of 6 children ranging in age from 15 to 23.

SPRC shares from her pastor profile, Andy describes her theological themes of her ministry as Grace, love, acceptance, meeting people where they are, radical hospitality, personal relationships, full inclusion of all people, and the priesthood of all believers is essential.

Pastor Andy extends a huge thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and well wishes. She fully believes God is at work in Myers Memorial and cannot wait to join the ministries and the movement.
