Infants-Toddlers (0-36 months) Room E118
Children (4yrs-5th grades) will gather in room 103 for music and fellowship at 10a and will return for pick up at 10:40a. Children’s Classes are on the 3rd floor of the Education Building.
- 4yrs-1st graders will meet with Judy Thiele.
- 2nd-4th grades will meet with Gary & Jerrilynn Boggess and Justine Synder.

From SPRC
It is bittersweet that we announce the departure of Andrew Ingram from the staff of Myers Memorial UMC. Andrew, in his desire to follow God’s call on his life, will be entering into seminary this fall at Duke Divinity School in Durham. As part of his desired studies, Andrew is participating in the Rural Fellows program – a focus on ministry in a rural setting. Thus, he will need to make his way to this new opportunity in May.
We will celebrate Andrew’s ministry among us and send him off in worship on May 5th. Rest assured that your Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) is working diligently to provide continued support for the children and youth ministries in this transition. If you have any questions, please contact Randy Black, chairperson of SPRC or Pastor Sally Queen.
On Sunday nights from 5p to 6:30p our children ‘wonder’ about God’s great world through music, crafts and story time. Please enter via the Back Door and head to the youth lounge for dinner then our grown ups will take us to the third floor to Wonder. We give thanks to those who are making the Bible come to life for our children!
Wonder will meet on Sunday nights through April.
On May 5 we will celebrate with Andrew, those singing on May 12 will have a time to practice.

Wonder Children Sing in Worship: May 12 at the 11a service
Can you help with providing dinner for children and youth one Sunday? Then click the crock pot! Then please click the sign up button on date you choose.
Feel free to work together with other families or volunteers to provide a meal (you may reach out to the family already signed up to help them!) Paper products and drinks are not needed. The children and youth groups greatly appreciate you volunteering!

One of the conversations we don’t want to have is the one we really need to have and that’s the awkward conversation about how we are created ~ male and female. We at Myers Memorial UMC want to help you have that conversation with your child and lay the ground work for any future conversation that seems awkward and embarrassing.
Created by God is offered every other year and will be offered in 2024 as interest allows.
