June Newsletter Front Page

Life seems to function on a school calendar which means June, July, and August become the perfect time to vacation. Vacation is a time for rest and renewal from your daily routine and time for fun and fellowship with people you love.  This summer as you vacation, we invite you to not leave your faith behind.  We hope to share with you ways to continue to grow and use your faith even as you step outside of your routine.

As a way to celebrate our faith, everyone will receive a “FLAT JESUS” to take with you on summer adventures.  We hope that you will take a picture with FLAT JESUS and post it to the Myers Memorial Facebook page, so we can share in the fun. We hope that you will remember that as you travel God in Christ goes before you and with you wherever you might go.  We can’t wait to see where FLAT JESUS travels this summer!

Our next sermon series is entitled Summer Snapshots. We will use this time to talk about all the concepts associated with Sabbath and vacation.  I hope that when you are in town that will make every effort to join us for worship at 10:50 on Sunday mornings.  Invite a friend to come with you to worship!
