The mission of Myers Memorial United Methodist Church Kid’s Day Out program is to provide our children with learning and social activities in a loving and Christian environment, to make each child feel special and unique in their early years and to show them love as God would have us do. |

| Annual registration fee is $60.00 and due with the registration form. |
| Monthly tuition fees pay the teacher’s salaries and registration fee helps to buy the materials and snacks for the children’s classes. |

Kid’s Day Out is a pre-school program that operates from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. We offer the following classes: |
Toddler I |
for children 4 months to 12 months of age on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday |
One Year Olds |
for children 13 months to 23 months of age on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday |
Two Year Olds |
for those who have turned two prior to August 31 of the school year, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday |
Three Year Olds |
Your choice of a three day class (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) or four or five day class (Monday-Friday) |
Four Year Olds |
Your choice of a three day class (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) or four or five day class (Monday-Friday) |
The program runs from September 1st through the end of May and operates on the same schedule as the Gaston County School system. |

Weekly Activities |

Wednesday Morning Chapel— where the children gather in our sanctuary with our minister for a short lesson |

Thursday Morning Story Time—where the children gather to and have special stories or children’s books read to them. |

Friday Morning Music—where the children gather to learn songs and special music for special seasonal programs. |
Special Activities for Your Child |
Each year we offer special activities and programs for your child. Some of these programs include: |

Visit from Fire Department—each November the local fire department brings a fire truck and visits to talk about fire prevention and safety. |

Birthday Celebrations— each child celebrating a birthday is honored with the birthday crown for the day. |

Thanksgiving Feast— the children gather in the fellowship hall and partake of a meal together. |

Christmas Play - presented to the parents the last day before Christmas holiday begins |
